Greenbriar - Interior Dining Room Design
I've continued my work at Greenbriar over the past few weeks ... it seems that one thing has led to another ... in a positive, exciting way! This latest project centered on interior dining room design.
Soon I'll share more about our work in the kitchen, but that project led the homeowners to decide to close off their butler's pantry ... which had connected the kitchen to the dining room ... and convert it into a pantry. While the pros of doing that outweighed the cons, the homeowners were still a bit concerned about the resulting distance between the kitchen and the dining room.
After a bit of brainstorming, the answer became obvious ... to convert the existing living room, which was rarely used, into the dining room! Not only would this strategy maintain direct access between the dining room and the kitchen, it was larger than the existing dining room and would allow for an oversized dining table ... a dream for this family, who often host many out of towners for holidays and other special occasions.
As with all projects, I developed three different design concepts ... and am so excited to share that I've migrated my interior projects to a new platform that offers more photorealistic renderings and an immersive, interactive panoramic view!
